Q&A with Grace
Where are you from? Belleville, Illinois
Why did you choose to attend Ã山ǿ¼é? I chose to attend Ã山ǿ¼é because of the friendly atmosphere and small campus feel. When I did a tour of the campus, I could see how much the students cared for and loved Ã山ǿ¼é. Overall, it was a good fit for what I was looking for in a university.
What inspired you to choose your major/career path? I became interested in radiology whenever I got an X-ray done my senior year of high school. That exam I had done showed me just how important medical imaging professionals are. They have the ability to see inside the human body every day, as well as help patients get a proper diagnosis when they need it the most.
What activities have you been involved with at Ã山ǿ¼é? During my three years at Ã山ǿ¼é, I have been involved with Welcome Week Leaders, Emerging Leaders, the Honors Program, Lambda Nu Imaging Sciences Honors Society, and I am the Vice President of the Radiology Student Organization on campus.
What is a favorite memory of being a student here in the Kinney College? I would say my favorite memory is meeting my lifelong friends through the radiology program here at Ã山ǿ¼é. I'm looking forward to calling them my co-workers one day.
What are your plans after graduation? I hope to get a job as a CT tech at one of the local hospitals here in Evansville.
