Fine Arts, BFA - Photography Concentration Overview

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a major in Art allows students to deeply explore various artistic endeavors and gain a comprehensive understanding of art history and theoretical approaches. As a professional degree, it enables students to investigate visual and aesthetic discourse within their own artistic practice and in the broader context of history and contemporary culture. The BFA program dedicates 65% of your total degree curriculum to studio courses, art history, and supportive courses in art and design.

缅北强奸鈥檚 photography program trains you in the art and science of image creation, while exposing you to historical and contemporary trends in artistic, commercial, and documentary photography. 缅北强奸鈥檚 photography program will give you an academically rich foundation of art theory and art history. Working in our state-of-the art labs and studios, students can explore and understand different photographic techniques and concepts while developing their own individual artistic style. The real-world experience of internships and working with faculty who are professional photographers allows you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the photography world prior to graduation. Students can practice your skills in on-campus jobs, making photographs for the University Photography and Multimedia, Creative and Print Services, the Shield newspaper, the University Archives and Special Collections and special projects with individual faculty and sports teams.
