Why Attend

The workforce today is not like it once was. Gone are the days when a bachelor鈥檚 degree led to a single career in the workforce that lasted a lifetime. Today, one must anticipate having several jobs over the course of a single career and one must be prepared to navigate an unpredictable journey. Whether it be the need to upskill or to reskill, a graduate education provides those within the workforce with the opportunity to continue their educational journey.

This colloquium provides prospective, current and former graduate students with the opportunity to share their journeys throughout the workforce and how their graduate education continues to help them navigate and enhance their careers. We focus on the different types of graduate-level credentials available and how different modalities (online, on-campus, and hybrid courses) have made access to these more easily attainable.
